THE MASTERCLASS
Two days with Adeline Toniutti, above lake Geneva
A method born of an extraordinary journey.
Adeline Toniutti sang opera for ten years, until an accident burned her airways and badly damaged her vocal cords. Left almost mute, she relearned everything, one gesture at a time, and rebuilt a technique of rare precision. From that renaissance came CALYP, the Centre d'Art Lyrique de Paris.
Today she coaches classical and pop artists, works at the Opéra de Paris and was the singing teacher on Star Academy in 2022 and 2023. Her method, developed with twenty-six doctors and specialists of the body and the voice, is laid out in two reference books: Anatomie du Chant and La Bonne Voix.
In Switzerland, she shares the heart of this work over two sessions: the voice, the body, the mind and the relationship with the stage. It is a place she knows well: her tribute tour to Freddie Mercury came through Switzerland, alongside France, Belgium, Italy and as far as New York.

THE METHOD
The 5 pivot points
The singer's vital checklist, at the heart of Anatomie du Chant.
Look after your posture
The larynx hangs in the throat like a hammock: good posture leaves it free, on high notes as much as low ones.
Trigger the right laryngeal movement
Finding the right inner gesture, the one that opens the sound instead of forcing it.
Optimise the out-breath
Measuring the breath to support the note without pushing it or holding it back.
Make the sound resonate
Placing the voice in the resonators so it carries effortlessly.
Articulate vowels and consonants
Making the text clear and alive, from low to high.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Who this masterclass is for
All levels
From the complete beginner who barely dares to sing to the professional preparing for an audition.
Every style
Pop, mainstream, musical theatre, classical, rap: the technique adapts to your repertoire, not the other way round.
The speaking voice too
Public speaking, voice professions, stage fright: the work also applies to those who do not think of themselves as singers.
